Strawberry Fields offer 'think-tank' facilities and bespoke workshops to companies worldwide.
"Business thinking starts with an intuitive choice of assumptions. Its progress as analysis is intertwined with intuition. The final choice is always intuitive, if that were not true, all problems of almost any kind would be solved by mathematics linked with non-quantative data." Bruce Henderson, Boston Consulting Group
A DIFFERENT WAY OF THINKING
Developing a strategic decision is an intellectual process, whether it is analytical or intuitive or a combination of both. Changing perceptions is key to embracing a new set of circumstances and new challenges. A mindset that is pre-disposed to anticipating change and taking positive action has a clear advantage.
Using the analogy of chess, not only is it desirable to create change in order to win, it is essential to anticipate change itself. Controlling change through creative thinking in a business sense can develop favorable and decisive competitive advantage.
These mindsets require exercising brain power, just as we might train our bodies for the olympics, so we must train our minds to develop keen analytical and intuitive skills.
Analytical reasoning coupled with creativity and visual concepts of art can create competitive advantage. The images here are part of the process I use to stimulate creativity - used predominantly in innovation rooms for corporations, they can help to stimulate creativity in the workplace.

"The workshop was the best value training that I have received in over 25 years. The session is well put together and 'Creativity' certainly makes you think! The tools and techniques that John describes offer an excellent basis building block for anyone that has an open mind."
Tony Goodwin, One for all Hire Ltd.
"I really did enjoy the workshop and was amazed at how quickly the time went - always a good sign! It did make me think about how I might examine what differentiates me in the market place and what actions I might take to identify any niche markets out there for me. A very enjoyable experience."
Paul Brennan, Adastra Associates
"I thoroughly enjoyed the workshop - it did make me think about how I have become 'brainwashed' into believing that I don’t have a creative bone in my body! Also how I could be more creative in my approach to the challenges of running a business!"
Nicky Adams , Cornerstone Skills
